How many of us are hindered in the redemption story the Lord has planned for us?

We all know Christians with miracle testimonies - and if you're like me you probably think,

Wow, that is so beautiful. I figure God really does do cool stuff for some people. I wish I was one of them...

Recently, upon listening to a podcast episode (The Deep End With Lecrae) I had the thought instead that,

Wait, I know God. Isn't it His will for all of His children to live in freedom and be redeemed?

Would it not be His nature to have beautiful restoration stories written out for each of us and that He is just waiting for us to believe there is writing on the page?

Just open it!

Believe that He has written one just for you - the Great Author has your name on the cover of a book and the pages are filled to the brim with all He desires for YOU.

How much freedom is too much freedom? How much blessing is too much blessing for a good, good Father to bestow on His beloved?

I don’t mean all our future struggles are axed, but that all our sin CAN be redeemed and used as a tale of beauty and wonder: as an example of His love for us.

All of us!

I truly believe every person can have an awe-inspiring story of redemption (it is for His glory and for your good!) and that so many of us simply settle for crumbs.

Crumbs of redemption.

Crumbs of blessing.

Crumbs of freedom.

Crumbs of authority.

Oh, God would never take this away.

Oh, God would never do that.

Oh, God just doesn’t use me in that way.

But what if your Heavenly Father WANTS to and you just don’t believe He does?

How long must we place Him in a box?

So much of my life has been a minimizing of the love my Father wants to give to me.

Because He couldn’t possibly do this for me. I’m not special. I’m just me. 

But He DOES want to do just that for me. And for you.

Seriously.

Open your mind to the Truth and Possibility of an All-Powerful God who calls you His child, who tells you that there is no length He would not cross to rescue you, to shower you in His love, to celebrate you, and to fulfill your every need and longing. 

If only you would believe Him!
